About Us

The Ursuline Sisters of Toledo are consecrated religious women who have been a part of the life of northwest Ohio since 1854 when the Sisters arrived from Cleveland at the request of Bishop Amadeus Rappe.

Our history is rich in Gospel values, the mission of Jesus, and the spirit of our foundress, St. Angela Merici. Ursulines around the world are continuing to discover "Angela Anew" for the 21st Century.
