New Beginnings for Ursuline Sisters from the Ursuline Center

Posted 4/29/2021

New Beginnings “Behold, I make all things new.”
Revelations 21:5

Ursuline Sisters moving from the Ursuline Center to Rosary Care Center in Sylvania or the Woodlands on Indian Road are receiving the following reflection:

Dear Sisters,
As we reflect on our vocational call to follow in the footsteps of Jesus and St. Angela through love and service to God’s people, we are reminded that we are a pilgrim people recalling the move from Cherry Street to Collingwood, to Indian Road, and now, to Convent Boulevard. (in Sylvania, OH)  With each transition we carry years of memories of joy and sadness, and life and loss. It is only with deep faith that we journey with our loving, faithful God, responding to the guidance and wisdom of the Spirit within us.

As we prepare for our move, we are grateful to all our helpers, friends, and relatives who continue to assist and journey with us. We are blessed as we remain committed to our call as a pilgrim people by trusting and witnessing to God’s love in our lives.

God of new beginnings, we are walking into mystery.
We face the future, not knowing what the days and months will bring us or how we respond.
Be love in us as we journey.
May we welcome all who come our way.
Deepen our faith to see all through your eyes.
Fill us with hope and an abiding trust that You dwell in us amidst all our joys and sorrows.
Thank you for the treasure of our faith life.
Thank you for the gift of being able to rise each day with the assurance of your walking through the day with us.
God of our past and future, we praise you. Amen
