Ursuline Center
The Ursuline Center, built in 1985 as a retirement center and infirmary for the Ursuline Sisters, is now a 36-bed, Medicaid (2002) and Medicare (2004) licensed nursing home facility for vowed religious Sisters and Priests only. Quality care of the residents is top priority along with providing a home-like environment based on the spirituality of St. Angela Merici, the foundress of the Ursuline Sisters.
Mission Statement of the Ursuline Center
In the spirit of St. Angela and in response to the Gospel, we minister to the body, mind and spirit of the vowed religious residing at the Ursuline Center. We do this by witnessing to and promoting the Ursuline Core Values.
The Ursuline Center, one of hospitality and welcoming, assists the residents in remaining active participants in their daily religious life and contributing to the community-at large. The Ursuline Center has many private areas to pray, meditate, or just relax.
If you are a religious Sister or Priest who needs skilled nursing care following a three-day hospital stay or surgery, please contact our Director of Social Services at 419-536-3535. Services we provide range from physical, occupational and speech therapies to recovery or rehabilitation from knee or hip surgery, or long-term nursing care.
