We are delighted to welcome Clement Bellemore as the newest Ursuline Associate.

Back in 2004, Clem and his wife Elizabeth had the opportunity and joy to move from New England to Toledo to be closer to their son and grandchildren. Clem was attending 8 a.m. daily Mass at a local parish, yet longed for a church that offered Mass later in the morning. At the time he was volunteering and driving three visiting Sisters from India where they needed to go. It was while chatting with those Sisters that Clem learned about the Ursuline Sisters and the later Mass offered at the Ursuline Center.

Upon his first visit, Clem recalls that Sr. Antoinette’s welcoming spirit made him feel right at home. He has been a daily attender, except during the time his wife became ill and passed away six months ago. He has made many friends here, including Sr. Mary Ellen, who was his mentor.

“This place has become the center of my life,” Clem says. “My spiritual life has taken three giant steps.” Welcome, Clem!
